Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 coming soon to India,Mi seeks "explorers" for it's new device.

Xiaomi,after launching an upgraded variant of the Redmi Note 3 in China,has announced that it will launch the Redmi Note 3 in India soon.The news comes after Xiaomi India's twitter handle said it will announce "something wonderful" soon.

The company's twitter handle has tweeted: "RT the AWESOME news that a new #RedmiNote3 is coming."Xiaomi has however not revealed the launch date for the device.

The company is looking for 100 "explorers" who get to experience the device before it's officially launched in the country.Interested fans can apply for the program here.

The company further explains that those opting for the "Redmi Note 3 Explorer Challenge",will be given a list of 100 "missions" to accomplish."Explorers will be ranked based on the number of successful missions and support from other Mi fans. All Explorers are required to return the phone after the challenge."

The company also said that "engineers" will be able to "Design extraordinary missions for Redmi Note 3 Explorers to complete. You’ll win a Mi Band for every approved mission."

The company might launch the Snapdragon powered-Redmi Note 3 Pro variant in India because of patent related issues with Ericsson that do not allow it to sell MediaTek powered devices in the country.
