HTC announces the HTC One Max with fingerprint scanner

The One Max has the fingerprint scanner close to the camera so the risk of getting your lens dirty is more
HTC on Monday announced the successor to it's flagship device,HTC One called HTC One Max with a massive 5.9 inch screen. With reportedly sinking sales of HTC One and increasing competition with likes of people to Sony,Apple and Samsung,It was time for HTC to reveal it's trump card and entry into the 'Phablet' category.
HTC's latest phone marks the company's entry into 'Big screen,Big market' category with it's 5.9 inch Full HD Display. The phone borrows the same internals and design from it's smaller brother except the fingerprint scanner and Micro SD card slot.HTC has placed the fingerprint on the back unlike Apple's iPhone 5S which has the scanner on the front.HTC also introduced Sense 5.5 (HTC's own Android UI) which features a option to remove Blinkfeed,New Menu and Controls.HTC One Max does not feature the famous Beats Audio after it's divorce from HTC.The One Max features the same camera as the One with Ultra Pixel Technology (HTC's own camera technology which captures more pixels than others and performs better in Low Light conditions) but loses the Optical Image Stabilisation featured in HTC One so the older device is probably better. The One Max's fingerprint scanner is not as accurate as the iPhone 5S and needs more accurate swipes. The One max also features a larger battery so you won't be running out of juice.

HTC has not announced the pricing yet but it is likely to be priced at $899 (Rs 55,510) ahead of competition. The phone will also face tough competition from it's competitors like the Apple iPhone 5S,Samsung Galaxy Note 3,Sony Xperia Z Ultra,Blackberry Z30,LG G2 and others.Only Pricing, availability and time can tell.Tell us your thoughts about the HTC One Max in the comments section.
