Nokia announces six new devices including a tablet

Nokia in Nokia World at Abu Dhabi announced six new devices that include the new Nokia Lumia 2520, Lumia 1520,Lumia 1320 and entry-level Asha smartphones.The Nokia 2520 is a Tablet which runs on Windows 8.1 RT while the Lumia 1520 and 1320 are phablets running Windows Phone 8.

The first is the Lumia 2520 which is Nokia's first tablet and comes with 10.1-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display with Nokia's ClearBlack technology and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.It is powered a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor under the hood coupled with 2 GB of RAM.It sports a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics and has aperture of f/2.4 while there is 1.2-megapixel front camera which does 720p video recording.It comes with 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card.It comes with a 8,120 mAh of battery which gives a maximum standby time of 25 days.  
Nokia also announced a Power Keyboard for the 2520 with a touchpad and wraps around the tablet for protection so you don't need a separate case.The Power Keyboard also comes with battery which gives five hours of extra use and adds two USB ports to the device.Nokia says that the battery of the device charges to 80% in one hour.The company also announced some 2520 exclusive Apps which include: Asphalt 8 Airborne, Dragons Adventure,FIFA 14,Rabbids Big Bang,Rayman Fiesta Run,Netflix,Nokia Video Director,Flipboard,Nokia Storyteller and a many others.

The Lumia 2520 will initially be available for sale in the US, UK and Finland at price tag of $499 (Rs.30,723).

The next is the Lumia 1520 phablet which comes with 6-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and comes with Nokia's ClearBlack technology.It is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor alongwith 2 GB of RAM.It comes with 32 GB of internal storage expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card.It runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 with Lumia Black and comes with a mammoth 3,400 mAh of battery which gives talk-time upto 27.4 hours and has built-in wireless charging.
It comes with 20-megapixel Pureview rear camera with ZEISS optics and dual LED flash.It comes with the latest Nokia Camera app and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and has four directional microphones for distortion free sound capture.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to begin selling this quarter in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States, China and Europe (including Finland, France, Germany, and the UK), followed by other markets with an estimated price of $749 (Rs. 46,241)

 While the Lumia 1320 is mid-range Windows Phone 8 phablet with 6-inch HD IPS LCD display with Nokia's ClearBlack technology and has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It also comes with Gorilla glass 3 cornering to protect the screen.It is powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.It sports 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back while there is a VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera on the front which does 480p video recording.It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card and also comes with 7 GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage.It comes with 3,400 mAh of battery which gives upto 25 hours of talktime.

The Lumia 1320 will be available in a choice of orange, yellow, black, or white and is planned to be available first in China and Vietnam in early 2014, followed by other Asian markets, India and European markets at an estimated price of $339 (Rs. 20,901).

Nokia also announced three new devices for it's low cost Asha Range that include the Asha 500,Asha 502 and Asha 503.
The Asha 500 offers a 2.8 inch QVGA display and comes with a 2-megapixel camera which does QVGA video recording.It comes with 1,200 mAh of battery which gives 14 hours of talk-time and comes with 2G for connectivity.It will cost $69 (Rs.4,254)
 A step ahead is the Asha 502 that comes with a 3-inch QVGA display and offers a 5-megapixel camera with flash which does QVGA video recording.It comes with 1,010 mAh of batter which gives upto 13.7 hours of talk-time and again comes with 2G for connectivity.The Asha 502 will cost around $89 (Rs.5,487).

Last but not the least is the Asha 503 which comes with 3-inch QVGA display and offers the same 5-megapixel camera with flash which does QVGA video recording.It comes with 1,200 mAh of battery which gives upto 12 hours of talk-time but comes with 3G for connectivity.The Asha 503 will retail at  $99 (Rs.6,103).
 All three devices come in Black,Blue,Red,Green,White,Yellow and run on Asha OS 1.1.A dual-SIM variant of all the three devices will be available and all the three will come with Whatsapp preloaded.All the Asha smartphones will be available from Q4.
