LG has finally decided to launch it's first phone with 'curved' screen in India.LG says the phone will go on sale in February 2014.LG has not announced the exact pricing yet but says it will be priced between Rs.60,000 to Rs.65,000.
The LG G Flex was initially launched in South Korea and is the second phone to have curved display.Samsung also has it's own phone with curved display named the Galaxy Round.The Galaxy Round has specs similar to the Galaxy Note 3.
LG also unveiled it's own curved OLED TV (55EA9800).The 55-inch TV will be available at a price of Rs.Rs 9,99,000.
The phone has a 6-inch 720p Plastic OLED (POLED) display.It is powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with Adreno 330.It comes with 2 GB and comes in 32 GB of storage.The phone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.The phone has 13-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front camera.The phone comes with world's first curved battery technology and packs in 3,500 mAh of battery.
One of the highlights of the device is it's 'self healing' protective film on the back panel.LG says that phone can heal itself against minor scratches and bumps.The protective film on the back takes care that hairline scratches disappear within minutes.

- Q Theater which gives user quick access photos,videos and YouTube directly from the lockscreen by dragging outwards along curved surface with both fingers.It creates a theater curtain effect before introducing the video
- Dual window that divides the screen in two separate windows.
- Swing lockscreen which alters the image on lockscreen depending on how the device is held.
- Face detection indicator which displays the LED on the rear key in green to confirm status of face detection and focus.
