Acer reveals it's CES device lineup including an 27-inch Android powered AIO (All in one)

Acer has some really great devices geared up for CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2014 in Las Vegas.Acer has announced a smartphone,two tablets,a AIO (All in one) running Android!

Acer Liquid Z5 smartphone 

Acer has decided to enter into the budget smartphone category with it's Liquid Z5.While the Moto G is currently the God of budget devices but there few around the corner to catch up.
Our fundamental goal when creating the Acer Iconia A1-830 was to provide our customers with an optimized Android tablet that stands out from other devices.Consumers expect more than ever from value-oriented products, and the Acer Iconia A1-830 tablet delivers much more than tablets in this class with its vibrant IPS display, premium aluminum metal finish and great performance and sound.”- Jerry Kao, associate vice president of Acer Mobile Consumer Business Unit.
The Acer Liquid Z5 sports 5-inch TFT FWVGA display.The Z5 features 1.3 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6572 processor along with 512 MB of RAM.On the camera side Z5 features 5-megapixel rear camera with BSI technology and 5 lens elements and f/2.4 aperture along with VGA front camera.It comes with 4 GB of internal storage and runs a bit outdated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with some software features that include Acer Float for multitasking and Acer Rapid for one-handed control.Acer has also included different profile modes for different users at different ages.It has 2,000 mAh of battery.

The Acer Liquid Z5 is priced €169 exactly Rs.14,287 and will come in white and gray color and will be in
France, Benelux, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine and the UK from mid-January.While the Liquid Z5 has nothing to excite about so the preferred alternative is obviously the Moto G.

Acer Iconia A1-830 and Acer Iconia B1-720 tablets

The budget tablet category has always new devices to taste for consumers.Acer too has tried it's best to perform with it's Iconia A1 and B1 tablets.The Iconia A1 is more better device than the Iconia B1.

The Iconia A1-830 sports 7.9-inch IPS display with again a low (1024 x 768) resolution considering the price.The Iconia A1 is powered by dual-core 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Cover Trail + Z2560 processor along with 1 GB of RAM.Acer has also put a 5-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording along with 1.9-megapixel front camera capable of 720p video recording.It has 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card.It runs on the older Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean along with battery life of 7.5 hours.Acer also has released Acer Crunch Keyboard and Acer Crunch case for the device.The Iconia A1-830 will be available in North America this quarter starting at a suggested retail price of $149 exactly Rs.9,263.

Next is the Iconia B1 with 7-inch OGS (One Glass solution) display with no details on resolution.It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT8111 processor along with 1 GB of RAM.It has 16 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card slot.There is only front facing camera with an unknown resolution.It has five hours of battery life.Acer has not mentioned any other specs for the device.The device is priced at $129 exactly Rs.8,019 and will be available from mid-Janurary.The best alternatives are Asus Memopad HD 7,Dell Venue 7,Nvidia Tegra Note 7.

Acer TA 272 HUL & Acer DA 223 HQL Android AIO (All in one)

Acer has launched a two AIO (All-in-one) running Android,yes Android! First is the TA272 HUL which has a 27-inch WQHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440.It is powered by quad-core Nvidia Tegra processor along with 1 GB of RAM.It has 16 GB of internal storage along with Wi-fi support.It has transparent base which Acer describes as 'minimalist'.The display stand can be tilted from 30 to 80 degrees.It has 2-megapixel front camera and USB 3.0 for attaching gaming controllers and other accessories.It also has HDMI and display port connectivity allowing it to be used as a monitor for other input sources.It is Windows 8 certified so you can get touch control when you attach it to a Windows PC.The TA272 HUL is available at a price of $1,099 exactly Rs.68,324 and is shipping worldwide.

The next is the DA 223 HQL which has 21-inch Full-HD Display and is powered 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor.It has MHL connectivity by which AIO can be connected to mobile devices and be used as an external monitor.It too runs Android Jelly Bean.The  DA 223 HQL is priced at $699 exactly Rs.43,456.But the question is would you buy one of these ?
