After teasing for a short period of time,Oppo has just made the mid-range Neo official.The phone was announced via
Twitter post by Oppo.It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display with a rather low resolution of 854 x 480.The display It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with no information on processor architecture or RAM.On the back it has 5-megapixel shooter while 2-megapixel front camera does the job for video calls.But there is no information on LED flash.The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Oppo's Color OS.The Neo comes with Quick Reach,a gesture-based feature that can trigger a variety of features.Oppo has not given any information on the inbuilt storage and connectivity options of the device.It comes with a 1900 mAh battery which is replaceable.
The phone will retail at IDR 2,599 exactly Rs.13,000 but Oppo has not revealed that Neo will be limited to only Indonesian markets.If it reaches India then it would be interesting to see it compete with local indian brands.
