Samsung relaunches the Galaxy SIII with dual-SIM support as the SIII Neo+

Samsung has refreshed it's two year old Galaxy SIII but with just some slight modifications. It is hard to think why Samsung decided to refresh the two year old device despite the availability of it's flagship S4.We think it was mainly due to high sales. The SIII Neo+ features the same specs as the original SIII except the dual-SIM functionality.

As for the specs it features the same 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has 1.4 GHz quad-core which is unknown and could be the Exynos 4 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 along with 1 GB of RAM.It has a 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash which is capable of Full-HD recording while there is a 1.9-megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB of storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the box unlike the original SIII which ran Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) but has received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. It has 2,100 mAh of battery. It is dual-SIM and supports GSM and WCDMA with dual standby.

Currently the Galaxy SIII Neo+ is available officially in China but Samsung has not yet the revealed the pricing and the availability of the device outside China. But the main feature in the SIII Neo+ is it's dual-SIM functionality which matters a lot to Indians.Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.2-inch display,1.2 GHz quad-core processor,8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1.9-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card and is priced Rs.23,000.

Samsung was supposed to launch the Galaxy Note 3 Neo which is rumored to feature 5.5-inch 720p display and is also supposed to come with the S-Pen.While on the processor side it is supposed to come with Exynos 5260 Hexacore (six) chip along with a 2 GB of RAM and 3,100 mAh of battery.
