Sony adds two mid-range Xperia's to it's lineup for a better 'Xperiance'

Sony has added two new mid-range smartphones to it's Xperia lineup with the Xperia E1 and T2 Ultra.Both the devices are also available in dual-SIM variants.Sony had earlier announced the Xperia Z1 Compact during CES 2014.

"Xperia E1 combines the best of Sony's audio technologies with a premium design and great hardware to create a smartphone for people who want to express themselves out loud. It's a new, music focused player in our Xperia line-up that is underpinned by the best of Sony's design, display and content offers"-Calum MacDougall,director of Xperia marketing at Sony Mobile. 
First is the Xperia E1 which comes with a speaker capable of producing audio at 100 db (decibels) and comes Clear Audio+ and XLOUD to make sure music is crystal clear.It is focused on music lovers and comes with dedicated Walkman key that takes you right to Sony's Walkman app which lets you play, share your favourite tracks, create playlists and combine your online and offline music in one view.The phone is an much needed upgrade to the two year old Xperia E.It comes with a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 400) display.It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8210 processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM.It comes with 3-megapixel rear camera which record 720p HD videos.It comes with 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded till 32 GB via micro SD card.It comes with 1,700 mAh of battery with Sony's STAMINA mode and gives Talktime upto 9 hours 12 mins and Music listening time upto 81 hours 30 mins.It is available in Black,White and Purple.

Next is the Xperia T2 Ultra which is really 'Ultra' with it's 720p 6-inch display that comes with TRILUMINOS display for mobile along with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and X-Reality.It is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.It comes with 13-megapixel camera with pulsed LED flash and Autofocus and has Sony's Exmor RS for mobile sensor and is capable of Full-HD 1080p video recording and has 1.1-megapixel front facing camera for video calls which is capable of 720p video recording.It has 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB via micro SD card.It comes with 3,000 mAh of battery along with Sony's STAMINA mode.It is available in Black,White and Purple.
"Xperia T2 Ultra will lead the category through its combination of advanced display and camera technologies, it will bring large-screen entertainment in an amazingly portable form factor and it will do it all whilst providing incredible value for money"-Calum MacDougall,director of Xperia marketing at Sony Mobile. 
Sony has not revealed the availability and pricing yet but the prices are expected to be 'mid-range'.The Xperia T2 Ultra is set to compete with the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Lumia 1320 while the Xperia E1 will struggle to compete with it's own sibling Xperia M,Galaxy Core and the Lumia 525.
