If you are fan of large screen phones or are looking buy a tablet with a large screen and with portability then Sony has some great news for you with it's new Wi-Fi only variant of the 6.4-inch Z Ultra phablet.It has the same specifications as the international variant of the Xperia Z Ultra but without cellular connectivity.
The Xperia Z Ultra features the same 6.4-inch TFT Full HD TRILUMINOS display with X-Reality for mobile which gives 342 PPI.It is powered by the fastest processor currently available which is 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 alongwith 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.On the back it comes with 8.1-megapixel camera that unfortunately doesn't have a LED flash which we think is a letdown of the device while on the front there is 2.2-megapixel camera that does Full-HD recording.It runs on the outdated Android 4.2 Jelly-Bean and comes in 32 GB storage which can further expanded upto 64 GB via micro SD card.It has 3,500 mAh battery which gives music playback upto 100 hours and video playback upto 7 hours.It is dust-resistant and waterproof upto 1.5 meters with IP55 and 58 rating.It is ultra slim with slimness of 6.5 mm and weight of just 212 grams.
The Wi-Fi only Xperia Z Ultra is will launch in Japan on 24 January at a price of 52,000 yen exactly Rs.30,000 while there is no word on availability of the device outside Japan.
