Acer unveils Liquid E3 and Liquid Z4 ahead of MWC launch

Acer has unveiled it's new mid-range and entry-level smartphone which include the Liquid E3 and Liquid Z4 ahead of it's launch at the MWC.

The Liquid E3 is a mid-range smartphone which sports 4.7-inch HD IPS display with resolution 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core (unspecified) processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with "ultra-fast focus" and LED flash while there is 2-megapixel front camera which is too comes with an LED flash.The Liquid E3 is the first smartphone in the world to come with front facing LED flash.It comes with 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly-Bean but Acer promises a update later this year.It is priced at €199 exactly rupee 16,957.

The Liquid Z4 is an entry-level smartphone and sports a 4-inch TFT screen with resolution of 800 x 400 pixels.It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core (unspecified) processor alongwith 512 MB of RAM.It comes with 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly-Bean.Acer has no plans to upgrade it to Android 4.4 Kit-Kat.It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.4 aperture.It is priced at €99 exactly rupee 8,435 and will be available in two colors of Essential White and Titanic Black.

Both the devices come with front facing DTS sound speakers and Acer Rapid button on the back for one-hand control and can be used to unlock or wake-up the screen,launch the camera,take a picture,launch apps from home screen and pick up phone calls easily.
