HP has finally launched it's awaited Slate 6 and Slate 7 VoiceTab in India which of course by the name come with voice calling facility.The Slate 6 VoiceTab is priced at
22,990 while the Slate 7 VoiceTab is priced at
16,990 and will be available online and stores.The devices were earlier announced by HP in January for Indian markets and had told that they would available in February.The devices mark the entry of HP back into the smartphone market.
The first is the Slate 6 which comes with 6-inch IPS LCD display with resolution 1280 x 720 pixels and has a pixel density of 245 PPI.At this price point you can except Full-HD which competitors offer at a much lower price.It comes with 5-megapixel rear camera accompanied with a LED flash while there is 2-megapixel front camera and both support HD video recording.While competitors offer atleast 8-megapixel while going upto 13-megapixel again this point where the Slate 6 fails.It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.HP also offers 25 GB of free cloud storage with the device.It is dual-SIM device consisting of a regular SIM and micro SIM slot with both supporting 3G connectivity.It comes with 3,000 mAh of battery which gives around 10 hours of talk-time according to HP.
Both tablets are powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1088 with 1 GB of RAM and come with 720p resolution.Both the devices run Android 4.2.2 Jelly-Bean out-of-the-box and come with front speakers with stereo sound also found in the HTC One.
The Slate 7 comes with bigger display at 7-inch IPS LCD display with same resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels found in the Slate 6 but has less pixel density of 215 PPI due to the size of the device.It comes with same 5-megapixel camera but loses the LED flash while there is 2-megapixel camera on the front.It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card slot.It too comes with 25 GB of free cloud storage from Box.com.Just like the Slate 6 it is also dual-SIM device with 3G connectivity.HP has provided a bigger 4,100 mAh to cope up with the display size.
HP is also giving some offers to spice up the deal which include 15% off on all in-app purchases using Baggit.com app,Travel vouchers worth
