Lenovo has launched it's latest flagship smartphone,the Vibe Z in the Indian market for a retail price of Rs.35,999.The device will be available across the country later this monthThe device had earlier made it's
debut last month at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) .
As for the specs,It comes with 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS display which gives it around 400 PPI.It also comes with Gorilla Glass 3 cornering.It is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM.It is fastest processor available on the market currently and also powers flagship devices such as the Galaxy Note 3,Google Nexus 5,LG G2 and the Xperia Z1.It comes with a 13-megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash and Sony's Exmor RS while there is 5-megapixel camera on the front comes 84° wide viewing angle and f/2.2 aperture.It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly-Bean out-of-the-box and comes in 16 GB of internal storage which is unfortunately cannot be expanded.It comes with 3,000 mAh of battery and can deliver upto 33 hours of talktime.The device is available in two colors of Silver and Titanium.It is also Lenovo's first smartphone to come with 4G LTE connectivity support.
The device will compete with Gionee Elife E7 which features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display,16 and 8-megapixel camera,Snapdragon 800 with 3 GB of RAM and is also cheaper at Rs.27,849.The
Samsung Galaxy S4 with octa-core processor is now available at Rs.32,500 thanks to recent price cut.It comes with smaller 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen,13 and 2-megapixel cameras.
Google Nexus 5 is also available at this price range and starts for 28,000.It comes with 5-inch Full-HD screen,Snapdragon 800, 8-megapixel camera with OIS.The Vibe Z will have a tough competition from these devices.What do you think?
