It is bringing genuine choice to the category by delivering stunning design and high-end performance at unbelievable value.”-Peter Chou, CEO of HTCThe next is the Desre 816 which is HTC's flagship mid-range smartphone and comes with 5.5-inch 720p HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5 GB of RAM.It sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera which can result in perfect selfies according to HTC.It runs on Android (unknown version) with HTC's 5.5 UI on the top and comes with 8 GB of internal storage expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card.It packs in 2,600 mAh of battery and also comes with Boomsound dual-frontal stereo speakers and Blinkfeed alongwith 4G LTE connectivity.The company has not revealed the pricing but has said that the device will be available in China from March while global availability will begin from April.
