LG has unveiled two new mid-range smartphones at MWC which include the F70 and F90.Both device run Android 4.4 Kit-Kat out-of-the-box and come with 4G LTE.
The first is the F70 which comes with 4.5-inch WVGA IPS LCD display with resolution of 800 x 400 pixels which is pretty low for mid-range smartphone.It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM.It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Autofocus while there is a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front camera.It comes with 4 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card and comes with 2,440 mAh of battery.
A step ahead is the F90 which comes with a 4.7-inch qHD IPS LCD display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at unknown clock speed coupled with lower and disappointing 512 MB of RAM.It comes with 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while there is a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front camera.It comes with 4 GB of storage which can be further expanded via micro SD card (maximum capacity not told) and has 3,000 mAh of battery.
Both the devices come with LG's Knock Code found in the G Pro 2 which lets you power on and unlock their smartphone by using a personalized pattern even if the display is off.The company says it offers greater security as the pattern is entered on blank using anywhere from two to eight taps and offers more than 80,000 possible combinations.
