Microsoft unveils Office for iPad as document editing goes free on iPhone and Android

Microsoft has finally unveiled it's popular Office suite for iPad.As usual, the Office suite includes Excel,PowerPoint and Word apps which will be available as iPad apps for the first time.
The apps are free are available for free if you just want to open and view documents, spreadsheets, and presentations but if you want to edit them then it will require you Microsoft Office 365 subscription.Just like on Google Drive,your documents will be stored and synced in the cloud so that you can access the latest version of your documents across your devices.Microsoft says that Office for iPad can be installed upto 5 tablets beside the fact that you also get 5 copies of Office for PC and Macs.Office for iPad is available for tablets running iOS 7.0 and later.
The company also announced that it's Office Mobile app will be available for free for iPhone and Android smartphones.It means that now you have the ability to view and edit your Office content on the go.What do you think of the Office for iPad suite? Tell us in the comments section.
