
The LG G Watch sports a simple square shaped LCD touchscreen showing the time (in the picture above).The whole smartwatch has been developed in close collaboration with Google but does not carry the 'Nexus' branding.LG says that it's engineers worked closely with Google from the initial stages of development to ensure that the LG G Watch worked perfectly with Android Wear.The G Watch is the Korean company's fourth device that has been developed in collaboration with Google following the footsteps of the Nexus 4,Nexus 5 and the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition.

The company says the that G Watch will present a low barrier to entry for developers and offer the best Google experience for users.The G Watch will work with "a wide range of Android smartphones" and will offer relevant information to users just when they need it or whenever they say “OK Google” to ask questions or get stuff done.The G Watch will be available from second quarter of 2014 and more info on the device including specifications and pricing will be announced in the coming months.

Unlike the G Watch, the Moto 360 comes with classic circular design that's why the smartwatch has been named 360.The Moto 360 boasts of 1.8-inch touchscreen and can sense its orientation to flip the screen contents accordingly.The 360 has a diameter of 46 mm and is made of stainless steel.The smartwatch is designed to be water-resistant and will work with any smartphone running on Android 4.3 Jelly-Bean.Ars Technica notes that Notification Access APIs introduced in Android 4.3 allows to read and dismiss notification via Bluetooth,reply to messages,retweeting tweets and skipping tracks in music apps.
