Nokia X Android smartphone launched in India at Rs.8,599

Nokia has finally launched it's much awaited Android powered Nokia X smartphone in India at price of rupee 8,599.The device was announced alongwith Nokia X+ and XL at the MWC last month.Nokia X+ and Xare listed on the company's India website and are expected to arrive within next two months.

The Nokia X comes with a 4-inch WVGA LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels.It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM.It sports a 3-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with FWVGA video recording and 4x digital zoom.The device comes with 4 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.It comes with 1,500 mAh of battery which provides upto 13.3 hours of talk-time.
The device runs on AOSP (Android Open Source Project) which corresponds to Android 4.1 Jelly-Bean and comes with Microsoft services.The device comes with Nokia own's store instead of the Play store and runs on Nokia X platform 1.0.The company says that the device can run 75% of Android apps and users can side-load apps from any third party source.The device will come with HERE maps and MixRadio preloaded
