The second-generation YotaPhone comes with larger 4.7-inch EPD compared to last year's 4.3-inch and has full-touch support (previously users had to swipe under the display to transfer the display).It comes with better resolution of 960 x 540 pixels compared to last year's 640 x 360 pixels.On the original YotaPhone notifications appeared automatically on the EPD but couldn't be interacted with.The second generation YotaPhone allow users open and respond to notifications (like SMS,social media posts,mails etc.) without waking up the color AMOLED display.The EPD is now backlight meaning that users can read it comfortably in bright sunlight or in the dark without any problem.The company says that 74% of the device is usable display compared to 30-40 % of other premium Android smartphones.“YotaPhone’s arrival on the market last year marked one of the first game changers in

Now, with two full-touch displays, the next generation YotaPhone is twice as smart, twice as useful and twice as beautiful,”- Yota Devices CEO Vlad MartynovThe regular or front display is now bumped to 5-inch AMOLED up from 4.7-inchs LCD and resolution has also been increased from 1280 x 720 pixels to 1920 x 1080 pixels boasting pixel density of 442 PPI.The device is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM compared to last year's 1.7 GHz dual-core processor.It sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while there is a 2-megapixel front camera.It comes with 32 GB of storage with no details on it's expansion.It also comes with 4G LTE and NFC for connectivity.It comes with 2,500 mAh of battery which gives more than 50 hours of battery life when reading on the EPD.The device also comes with Smart Power Mode which lets users turn off the color AMOLED display and perform basic tasks like making and answering calls to extend battery life.

to track their favorite team and Fitness Tracker which syncs with any health monitoring device and tracks health status and fitness goals.
The YotaPhone 2 will be on sale EMEA and Russia from Q4 2014 followed by US and Asian markets three-four months later.The pricing of the device has not been revealed but the company says that it will soon be announcing an upgrade program for consumers who purchased the first generation YotaPhone to upgrade to the new device.What do you think of the device?
