Google and HTC have finally taken the wraps off the long rumored Nexus 9 tablet on Wednesday.The tablet was announced alongside the Nexus 6 smartphone both of them running the Android 5.0 Lollipop which the company says is it's "sweetest release yet".
It comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with Autofocus and LED-flash while there is a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calling.It features 16 and 32 GB of internal storage which is unfortunately non-expandable.
It packs in 6,700 mAh of battery which provides usage of upto 9.5 hours of web-browsing,9.5 hours of video-playback and upto 30 days of stand-by on Wi-Fi.Connectivity.Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11a/c MIMO,Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC.
The device comes with the traditional front-facing BoomSound speakers and soft grip back.Google also plans to sell a "magnetically attached, fully-responsive keyboard" separately to work on the go.
The Nexus 9 will be available for pre-order from 17th October at price of $399 for the 16 GB Wi-Fi variant,$479 for 32 GB Wi-Fi variant,$599 for 32 GB LTE variant.The Nexus 9 will hit the stores on November 3 in Indigo Black,Lunar White,Sand colours.
